London.
I got into a car accident, almost missed my flight back home, and lost a significant part of my already almost non-existent self-confidence as I was trying to explain the entire situation to a police officer over the phone.

And, as you might have already guessed, everything happened on the same day.

Yes, this is the first thing that comes to my mind whenever I think of my trip to London. But I promise you, the entire experience was incredible.
Although some of us are attracted to bustling streets and thrilling adventures while others are sold to the eerily quiet and peaceful locations, we all have a place that simply amazes us, and we can’t help but fall in love with its sheer beauty.
Well, London is that place for me. Sure, some people love London for its unique sights and exciting places, while others can’t stand its crowded spaces or unbearable traffic.
But I find it particularly intriguing for being a place of extremes: often gloomy but also lively, old but modern at the same time. And it is undoubtedly one of those cities with a long and rich history, a never-ending list of tourist attractions, and the perfect destination for making unforgettable memories.
My favourite place is probably The National Gallery, which is home to a number of incredibly famous paintings. Here you can lose track of time admiring amazing art.
Next up on my list is The British Museum, which enabled me to travel back in time, all the way to the Egyptian ancient times, and moving forward to contemporary drawings through its stunning exhibitions.
You can’t visit London and skip out on this one: at Buckingham Palace, you can witness the changing of the guard, which happens every day around at 10:45 am. Though, I couldn’t help but wonder… Do the guards ever speak?

After a long day of running around London, riding the tube, and bumping into strangers, Hyde Park (the largest Royal Park in central London) is exactly what you need: a lake, trees, and a spot where you can just sit down, relax, and rest your tired legs.
The best part is that you can do everything for free! How amazing is that?
P.S.: Since you’re reading this, there’s a chance you might be interested in visiting London at some point, so allow me to tell you something.
Although (fortunately) most countries in Europe use a standard two-prong plug, keep in mind that in the UK you’re going to use a three-prong plug, so having a universal adapter with you is a must.
P.P.S.: Carrying a fully-charged power bank at all times is such a great idea, trust me. Getting lost in London is definitely possible, and your phone is going to be your best friend when that happens.
